Lash Care

Fill every 2 weeks.  Any fill over 3 weeks will be charged as full set.

If you lose more than half of your lashes, you will need a full set and be charged as such.

If you choose not to fill, you can let fall off/out naturally or book lash removal to remove with special remover.  Do not pick or pull them off.

Eyelash extension maintenance instructions for best eyelash retention
• No swimming for 4 hours after the procedure
• No sauna or steam room for 8 hours after the procedure
• No facials for 8 hours after the procedure
• No mascara or waterproof eyeliner (Use non waterprooof liner with caution as you may pull at the eyelash extension.  It is recommended to avoid all eyeliner)
• No prescription or over-the-counter eye drops (If they must be used, it is recommended to rinse lashes after application
• No oil based products around the eye area
• No tinting or perming of eyelash extensions
• No touching, picking, pulling or rubbing of the lashes (Brush with wand if needed)
• Make sure to brush your lashes
• Avoid high heat (e.g. oven, blowing drying hair, camp fires and stovetop, etc.)
• Do not sleep directly on face.  Use caution if you are a constant turner.  A concave eye mask can sometimes help if you are a side sleeper.
• A silk or satin pillowcase is recommended.  There is less friction between lashes and pillow.
• Use caution with micellar water and eye makeup remover as some clients find these to weaken the lash glue.
• Keep them clean. This avoids eye infection, poor retention and eyelash mites.

If your lashes are clumping together even after combed through, review all maintenance instructions and ensure daily washing is followed.

Daily Maintenance
1. Wash with recommended cleanser (Prolong or Paris Lash) in the morning and night.  Wash your face first with an oil free face wash and then the eyelashes last.  If your face cleanser contains oil, use caution and avoid eye area when washing and rinsing.  If you need a recommendation for face cleanser, I do recommend Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel which is oil free, good for multiple skin types, and generally safe for lash extensions.

How to use lash cleanser-
- pump out foam onto back of hand
-Use lash cleansing brush to grab foam and apply to eye.
-Clean lash line, eyelid, under eye and lashes.  Be gently but ensure you are cleaning them to keep the oils from skin away which can weaken glue bonds.
2. Rinse with water
3. Pat dry with towel, do not rub.  Friction from rubbing can snag an eyelash and cause to fall off.
4. Use clean eyelash spoolie to brush through lashes.
5.  Additional, not required -  If you do not like wet lashes, you may use a handheld fan or blowdryer on COOL setting.
